*FROM OREGON: Grant County sheriff demands coordination with Forest Service

Editor’s note:  This report, by George Plaven, was published in the EAST OREGONIAN on Oct. 9th.  Incidentally, Grant County’s Sheriff Palmer has appeared previously in one of our NWAF! blog’s posts — then, for a militant missive he’d sent to the Forest Service back in January of this year (link here).

Unhappy with the U.S. Forest Service after a summer of devastating wildfires, Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer has made his own natural resources plan to influence the management of public lands.
